This sizeable update of the forum introduces extensive visual renewals, functionality overhauled, and many novel attributes. After several months of rebuilding, the community division of SHF is especially satisfied with this update and is already rigorously at work on the next substantial release. The next milestone planned on the roadmap for the Silent Hill Fever Forum is "the rebirth" edition, version 3.0. The nature of upgrade is so colossal, it merited an induction only during The Fever's biggest forthcoming event- "the rebirth". A SHF Community "the rebirth" preview scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2008 will provide a first, in-depth look at SHFF 3.0, plus the much-hyped My Fever Web sites. With much disparity and sorrow, I have information to pass along that Kim, the creator of Silent Hill Extreme, has effectively ended his commitment to the Web site and requested it be taken offline. The decision to close the books on one of many Silent Hill fan's favorite destination was a difficult, yet real consensus. Silent Hill Extreme in its three and a half year span online fulfilled the desires of Silent Hill enthusiasts worldwide and developed into an illustrious site that will be reminisced upon for generations to come. I on behalf of Silent Hill Fever, as well as being a longtime companion, would like to thank Kim sincerely for the invaluable, leading contributions he has made not just to the Silent Hill Fever establishment, but the entire Silent Hill community too.
